Electric vehicle power supply equipment is classified according to the output voltage:
Alternating current: single-phase 220V, three-phase 380V
Direct current: 200V‐500V，350V‐700V，500V‐950V
Preferred values of dc charging current: 80A, 100A, 125A, 160A, 200A, 250A
Note: power supply equipment higher than 950V shall be decided by negotiation between vehicle manufacturer and power supply equipment manufacturer
As can be seen from the above criteria, Dc contactors used in commercial and electric vehicles have the basic characteristics of high voltage and high current. So need the high reliability, high insulation voltage.
